August Trucks & Haulage Co. Ltd. is a subsidiary of The August Group Limited with its office located at 29 Abimbola Street, Isolo Industrial Estate. The company was incorporated on 4th August, 1992 but recapitalized and repositioned in the year 2001 as a company involved in the transportation sector of the Nigerian Economy with Haulage and distribution of goods, raw materials and finished products as its main area of specialization.

Presently, the company has suspended its operations with Unilever Nigeria PLC in order to carry out massive restructuring in order to actualize a new focus in professionalism and excellent service delivery at all times.

The major thrust of Management new focus is the objective of re-packaging, repositioning and re-engineering of the entire organization to meet up with the emerging trends in the haulage industry. This includes the injection of massive funds for the operation of the company to achieve the following:-

1. Purchase of 150 units of brand new articulated vehicles which will be divided into the following three segments:-

(a) 50 units of tanker trailers to service the downstream sector the oil industry.

(b) 60 units of 30ton articulated trailers made up of 20 units each of palletized body, containerized body and sided body trailers for general haulage services.

(c) 40 units of flat bed trailers for general haulage services.

2. Purchase of land and development of permanent office complex. To actualize this, application has already been made for allocation of new plots of land from the Ogun State Property & Investment Corporation (OPIC).

3. Provision of functional and modernized workshop with the state-of-the-art equipment and spares to facilitate prompt repairs and servicing of vehicles to ensure efficient service to clients.
